Cabaret was staged in February of 2012.

"Cabaret has always been one of my favorite musicals and it was more than a pleasure to direct the production. Drawing inspiration from both the film adaptation I grew up with and the Broadway version starring Alan Cumming, we created a vibrant version that included the best songs and scenes from the best of both worlds. Our set was based on the idea that the Kit Kat Klub could exist simultaneous to the scenes of Cliff's life in Berlin. Setting the Berlin scenes upstage, elevated above the cabaret, utilizing a full stage scrim to darken that space, created two realities that could play upon each other; the Kit Kat girls and boys could come to life in the Klub while still watching a scene that moved Cliff and Sally closer to the point of despair. The double-realities created a mystical Berlin where anything was possible including the idea that the Klub was possibly not happening in their reality at all. The opening and ending scenes were filmed on an antique train car to create the idea that only the scenes in Berlin would be staged, everything outside of their world would not be seen in three dimensions."
